The long awaited Beauty and the Beast (2017) live action movie is FINALLY here! This movie has been long anticipated by fans of all ages, including myself. The original animated version was released in 1991. Ugh…You’ve made us wait 26 years, Disney! Nevertheless, I just know it will be worth the wait. It looks AMAZING!

Starring the very beautiful and extremely talented Emma Watson as Belle. You may also know her from her role as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter. The very talented Dan Stevens as the Beast. Which you may know him from his role as Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey. I can’t wait to see the connection these two powerful actors have together.
The Plot:

A prince is confronted at his door by a witch/sorceress disguised as an old woman looking for shelter from the cold in exchange for a rose. He refuses. Because the prince was arrogant and rude to the witch (disguised as an old woman), she placed a curse upon him. He has until his 21st birthday to learn to love and be loved by another. She gives him the rose. Once the last petal falls, and if he was not able to find love and be loved in return, he will remain a beast forever.
Belle’s father, Maurice, gets lost in the forest with his new invention he was taking to the fair. He stumbles upon the Beast’s castle. Once the Beast finds him, he imprisons him.
Belle is an inquisitive young woman. She yearns for adventure and has wanted to leave her village. She learns of her father’s imprisonment and goes to the Beast’s castle to rescue him. There she meets many characters, the Beast’s servants (No Spoilers On That Part). When finding her father, the Beast finds her as well. The brave girl and heroin that she is, she begs the Beast to exchange her freedom for her fathers. He agrees.
True Love:
Through Belle’s kindness and respect, she softens the hard interior of the Beast’s heart. As his heart softens, he in turn shows Belle respect and kindness as well. As a result of this, a friendship was formed. Their bond grew deeper, they begin to love one another. A love without restrictions, a love of inner beauty, a love that is unconditional, a love that can test the ends of time…TRUE LOVE!
